Outdoor hot tubs, Unique quirky decor, Proximity to Richmond Park
Room location near reception led to noise disturbances!!! Maintenance issues like faulty toilet and heating problems can't be ignored!!! Spa facilities need better communication about availability!!!

Food was excellent and staff were friendly. One of the dining options, The Petersham Restaurant, was 10 mins walk away. Richmond Town district was worth visiting.

Homey exceptionally clean hotel with very good service and rear views. Very good experience and attentive and highly courteous staff. Continental breakfast with splendid food selection. Stunning location to an art museum. Found in a fantastic part of the town. Friendly check-in, late check-out. Excellent pool to relax in too.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

The hotel was fairly clean, cool, had very kind staff with 1st class service from extremely attentive staff. They provided a satisfactory breakfast with fresh options and other going rates. The location by laundry trolleys being dragged across concrete was great and gorgeous.

Entrance area and lounge very nice, newly renovated. Everything was clean and appealing. Bus stop directly at the hotel
Had a room on the ground floor, window was broken, could not be opened. . The room was completely overheated even after switching off the heating. Mattress was very soft. The furniture has also had better times.

we were just one night in that hotel. It met our expectations, with the exception of the lighting in the bathroom.

Basically everything's fine. Location is beautiful. Style is great.
The room was stylish but very very small for the 111 GBP. The reception was friendly. Unfortunately we could hardly understand the person who accepted us ;) Mumbled and was not emphatic. The employees the next day, on the other hand, were super courteous, open and friendly again. Price/performance unfortunately did not suit us. But they only spent a short night in Richmond.

A nice place to stay, renovated and clean. Standard rooms are ok, superiors also meet all expectations.
The weekend breakfast...Too crowdy, you'll have to wait to get served.

Breakfast was rich! Just a few steps from the door to the right and you can see one of the most beautiful views across Thames
Unfortunately the heating was broken! Nevertheless, we were quickly got help with an electro-oil radiator! The toilet flushing was running on most of the time!

The only hiccup was the shower's water temperature being a bit unpredictable, but it didn't really spoil my enjoyment. If you're looking for a comfy stay with some great relaxation spots, this place is a solid choice 😊

Proximity to town centre
Four of us travelled as two couples wanting to stay at the same hotel, The Richmond Gate on arrival we were informed that one couple were to stay at the hotel next door (The Richmond Hill) while the other stay in the Richmond Gate. This is not acceptable and we got the feeling that is 'normal procedure'. Although we were compensated with a better room our friends had to move and to make matters worse in to a shoe box, again unacceptable. So be warned and check that you booked into the hotel you want before arrival!
